Lake Skinner Trip

My mom got an RV a couple years ago and has been taken solo trips around the country.  When I found out she was doing a weekend trip at a campground about 2 hours away I jumped at the chance to join her.

Of course Milo came along.

Huey ordered a travel trailer of his own a few months back from a manufacture in Texas.  It just so happens to be the same week it was ready to pick up.  I wasn't able to take the time off work during the week, so he drove the straight 2 day drive there and 2 day drive back alone...then surprised us by meeting us at Lake Skinner.

Mom, Milo and I before our hike.

Milo loved going on long walks and exploring the campground, luckily for him we will be doing this a lot more often now!

Mind Games

I've seen a few puzzle type dog games and always wanted to try one, but couldn't get myself to spend the $30-$50 they usually go for...but when I saw this on the Petco clearance table for $10 I couldn't resist.

I came with pieces to make 3 different puzzles, but it was disappointing how easily Milo solved them all.  It wasn't the challenging and time occupying game I had hoped.

Milo isn't complaining, any game where he gets a treat is good in his book and the faster the better.  :)

Playa Vista Meet Up 1/15/11

I took Milo out to the Oberrieder Dog Park in Playa Vista for another corgi meet up last weekend.  I love watching him play with the other dogs.

Milo has a twin named Ollie!

If there is water to step in he will find it.

The chase is on!

Corgi train.

Milo and Maya remembered each other from the Pasadena meet up and seemed happy to see each other.

Playing in water...

+ running in dirt...

= Mud Ball.

He slept for a day and a half after this one.

Time to Hose Off

After rolling around in the dirt at the dog park Milo stunk pretty bad and was ready for a bath, but we let him play with the water hose first since it is one of his favorite things to do.

Pasadena Corgi Meet Up

It was such a great sight  to pull up to the park and see 10-20 corgis running around.  Milo wasted no time making new friends.

He especially hit it off with Donovan and the 2 seemed pretty oblivious to the rest of the dogs most of the time.

I think you can tell by his faces he was having a good time.
